Re-hydrate an Ancient Dried Ore Spawn Egg by adding a bucket of water to it on the crafting table. Ancient Dried Ore Spawn Eggs can be found only at shallow depths.

They are actually fun to collect, and to spawn upon an unsuspecting friend! :)  Can you find them all? Check out the full list here!

Picture
Spawns ants. Or Termites. Don't just stand there, grab a shovel and dig it up! Try to collect all the different kinds. Make a "telepad"! Surround it with a double ring of Salt Blocks so you don't get overrun... Now you can travel to any dimension, pretty much at will!

Materials: paper, redstone, stick
Picture

Picture
Make a Creeper Repellent! Yes. Really. Creeper Repellents keep Creepers away! Range is about 10 blocks in all directions. Totally worth it to protect your home. This also now protects you from ANTS and TERMITES!

Materials: 4 green goo, 2 string, 1 torch
Picture

Picture
Critter Cages only work about 80% of the time. You may have to throw more than one. And yes, they catch almost all types of critters, including dragons! Handy against creepers. Warning though... they work better on some critter than others! Just throw one at an entity/mob to catch it. Right-click it on the ground to release the captured critter. No, critter cages do not work on Robots. Yes, they work on big critters too, but very rarely.

WARNING: DO NOT USE ON TAMED PETS! Being stuck in a cramped little cage messes with their heads and they will UN-tame!!!

Picture
Make sure to hunt down a few Stink Bugs to make yourself a Kraken Repellent!

Picture
Duct tape is made from 3 slime balls and 3 strings. Place it on the ground, then right-click it with a damaged item.
Each click will use up some of the duct tape, and restore up to 1/6th of the damage on the item. Yes, I know it is flat and square.... It's Minecraft... It's a patch of duct tape, not a roll! Slimes and Spiders look out!!!!

Picture
Dropped by the Emperor Scorpion. Hang it upas a trophy, and when you get all the other ingredients, craft Big Bertha!

Picture
Catching Experience Orbs can be tricky. You have to catch significant experience. Kill something your own size. Try right clicking under the orb as it just passes into the block you're sighted on. You'll get the hang of it eventually. All you need is a little experience. Lol! I crack me up... :)

You'll need an Experience Orb Catcher to make Experience Armor, an Experience Sword, and an Experience Tree Seed. It's worth it.

The Miner's Dream block is pretty damn cool! You've gotta try it! Make one. Now. Take it underground, tap it on a stone block directly in front of you at your feet (not on a diagonal), and be amazed! Picture
You've done it!!!!! You've killed Mobzilla! Hang this baby up high and proud. You're one of the very very very few. You will need a bunch of these to make Mobzilla Armor!

Picture
The nose of the Molenoid! This is used to make Big Bertha. While you could hang this in your trophy room… that's kind of gross.

Picture
Just face the direction you want to go and right-click the block at your feet. To continue a set of stairs, or change direction, stand on the last block facing the direction you want to go (the next block MUST be air). Right click the block you are standing on. Another hint: stairs stop when they hit non-air, so the next block in the step direction must always be empty.

Materials: cobblestone, gunpowder

To continue a set of stairs, or change direction, stand on the last block facing the direction you want to go (the next block MUST be air). Right click the block you are standing on. Stairs down are a little finicky. You'll need to click them right on the last block on a ledge. Picture

Picture
The ZooKeeper item is awesome! Left-click any entity, and it will never despawn! Now you can make a real Zoo!!! Collect all gazillion critters!!!
