They make some pretty cool Amethyst Tools & Amethyst Sword, and some of the best armor you can get: Amethyst Armor!!!
This is what you get when you punch a tree in the Crystal Dimension. You need these!
Similar to coal, but lasts much longer. Tricky stuff to mine, as it tends to explode and catch things on fire. Be careful!

Oddly enough, this is actually PLANTABLE. Yes. Just place it on a grass block and watch it grow. When it is fully grown (3 high and 9 total leaf blocks) it will be a Duplicator Tree and will then begin duplicating any block placed around its base!!! Your own personal zerox machine...
Similar to stone in the home world. Use for Kyanite tools and weapons, but not armor. Also makes a nice Crystal Furnace, which is much faster and more fun to watch than a regular stone furnace! Pronounced: ki-an-ite
Wicked cool stuff! Slipperier than snot on a doorknob! Try walking on it. Run into it and get bounced off. What would happen if you made a floor and walls of the stuff, and then put a Zombie or a few Enderman in it? I wonder... Lava Foam can only be found/mined near lots and lots of lava... somewhere like, the Nether!!!

Congratulations! You killed Mobzilla! I don't know why you wouldn't make armor, but now you can use the Mobzilla scales to make a beautiful Mobzilla block! It's just pretty.
Molenoid Dirt is produced from the Molenoid! If you come across some, be on the look out. No one likes to get suffocated. This dirt is self cleaning which means it deletes itself. It also give you slowness while walking on it!
Go mining and collect these to make Pink Tourmaline Ingots. Pretty tough and durable stuff. Pronounced: tour-ma-leen.
Only a seriously manly miner can mine rubies! Why? Because they only appear directly under a lava pool! Yep. Mine that Ruby Ore block, and the lava lets loose... Good luck with that!
Rubies can be used to make ruby tools and sword. You can also make some awesome Ruby Armor. But the best reason to go mining for rubies is: a ThunderStaff!
Salt blocks kill ants. Great for keeping ants out of places you don't want them! Place a few Salt blocks in front of your door. Double-wide does the trick. Sometimes ants will cross just one block.
Or you can smelt this to make some salt for your popcorn! Yum! 
Can't do much with Sky Tree logs except make planks with them. Well, I'm lying.... Build something out of them, then break one. What happens? Cool, eh? Very useful for trolling 'friends'.
This cubic little guy will transport any player that steps on it to a random position up to about 16 blocks away. Great for confusing people! Looks almost identical to that other dark purple stuff that looks just like this...
This is what you want to go mining down deep for in the Crystal Dimension! Very delicate in this form, and not every block will drop an item! But after you've smelted it, this stuff is great for armor, tools and weapons!
Oh yeah! Get excited! You're on your way to crafting something Ultimate! This is what you've been looking for! Smelt these to get Titanium Nuggets.
SURPRISE!!! I'm loaded with termites! Use this block to troll your friends! Lol! But be careful with this one... you know what termites do to wooden houses, right?
Looks just like an emerald ore block! 
SURPRISE!!! I'm full of red ants! Lol! Great way to troll your buddies! Take one of these along with you while mining. Plant it where your friend will find it... then sit back and wait! :)
Yeah man! Uranium! You need this and Titanium to craft Ultimate items! Smelt these to get Uranium Nuggets.
